Welcome to the informational website for the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) component of Washington College's GIS Program. This grant has allowed Washington College's GIS Program to focus on the adult workforce affected by BRAC, as well as youth technology education (7th - 12th grade).
One major component of adult education is distance-learning. Through the use of Adobe Connect, adults may take workshops on GIS without incurring travel costs. Washington College provides lessons via synchronous instruction using computer screen sharing and voice over IP (VOIP).
